No. You choose exactly which resources to manage through tagging. Untagged resources—including all production—are completely invisible to CostGuard. Full control is in your hands.
Is this safe to use in production AWS accounts?
Completely. CostGuard only manages resources you explicitly tag. Production resources without CostGuard tags are completely ignored—they run 24/7 untouched. Everything is reversible, all actions are logged, and you control exactly what gets managed. Perfect for teams that need safety and compliance.

Can I exclude resources from automation?
